25 on Turkey Day

Ok, I have two topics to cover in this post, since I'm such a lazy blogger. I'll start with my birthday - it was on Nov. 16, and I turned 25! This, of course, was my first birthday as a wife, and was really great! Austin gave me a gift card (the best kind of gift in my opinion) and Ceasar's book (all you dog lovers know about him), so it won't be long until I'm well dressed with well behaved pups! He also cooked me dinner, which consisted of some really good steaks that had been marinated in red wine and sundried tomatoes and stuff, grilled tomatoes, seasoned potatoes and salad. It was divine. He also had a chocolate cheesecake for desert! mmmm. On Friday (the day after my b-day) we were headed to Laurel to start the "Thanksgiving break southern swing" and he said we had to stop by the Bullocks' house in Jackson to get our camera that we had left there on our last visit. Turns out he had planned a surprise party!!! I was completely surprised, and totally excited! We had a great time!
Ok, on to Thanksgiving. We started out in Laurel. The Stewarts celebrated on Sunday, with lots of food and family. We spent some time in Philadelphia (of course) but didn't win. :( I spent lots of time shopping with Ms. Becky (thats her name) and we got pedicures while Austin went hunting with his dad and brother. On Wed. afternoon we moved over to Brookhaven where we didn't do much other than eat. Austin sadly was defeated in the third annual turkey fest competition, but don't worry, he'll be ready next year!
The doggies did great travelling and at both houses. We're now starting the countdown until Christmas break!
