Bring Home the Bacon

So, as most of you know, Austin is a law student, and I am a teacher. That means I'm bringing home the big bucks (ha) and supporting the family. We all know that teachers in the great state of Mississippi don't make a lot of money, so at times this situation causes a little bit of friction. For example: Austin has had his eye (and ebay alert) set on this new putter (golf club - just incase someone might be left wondering - you never know who's reading). Of course since he found it on ebay its a great deal, but it's still way more than I think any golf club should cost. I mean, I'm sure I could make a golf club, given the right tools....anyway. At first I told him we should be SAVING money (remember the casino money??) and not spending it on stuff we don't need. Then he told me he'd use HIS money - that's right, HIS money! What the heck?!?! How come he has HIS money and I don't have any MY money?? I mean, I work all week long and don't get to buy new stuff, even if I win $300+ on a slot machine! Right?!?! At least that's what my thoughts were. We had a few talks about it, but it still comes up every now and then. I guess if he "needs" that putter....
So now Austin is in a trial competition (with Adam - they rock) and if he wins he gets $700ish. Its looking pretty promising, so I guess we'll be seeing a new putter pretty soon. I wonder what I should spend my earnings on when I get my next check???
