Island Paradise

We all know somebody who has done something totally crazy that we are envious of, right?? Well, all of you readers out there, get ready to wish you were us! Austin and I have started planning our getaway...to the Virgin Islands! I know, I know - It sounds crazy and unlikely, but its been done before, and we are determined. It turns out there are a few law firms in St. Thomas with some open positions, and of course the whole world is in need of special ed. teachers (they actually pay sped teachers extra in St. Thomas) so finding a job may not be all that complicated.
Finding a place to live could be another story. If you've ever done any research on real estate in the USVI (I'm sure we're not the only ones who have) then you know that it costs around $250,000 for a house with a beautiful view but no roof. We aren't letting that discourage us though, theres got to be something out there for us. Something we could afford and stand to live in for a year or two. Oh, I forgot to mention we only want to live there for a year or two - bytheway.
I mean, we're only young once - ya know? We'll never have this chance again - well - until we retire that is, and I'm not sure about Austin, but I plan on being fat and lazy in my retirement. Ha. So, if there is anyone who wants to go with us (to keep us company, or even split the rent) just let us know asap before we start planning out the details! Coop already has his swim trunks and floaties packed!
