The Southern Swing

It's that time again. Time to visit the families. We are heading to Brookhaven on Friday night because I have a doctors appointment in McComb on Saturday morning. Well, like usual, we figure it would be best to swing on over to Laurel while we're down south and visit the Stewarts. It shortens our time at each home, but makes more sense than having to make the 8 hour round trip drive twice. Right? It usually makes for a quick and tiring weekend, so we don't like to do it more often than we have to - although we do love our families.....
So we have two options if we want this family-visiting-madness to end: move closer, or move further away. If we were closer, it obviously wouldn't be such a big deal to go visiting. If we were further away, we wouldn't visit as often, and we would make a point of staying longer than a weekend. Tough decision. I guess if we move to the Virgin Islands we won't have this problem at all!!
Until then - we'll keep the cars gassed up for dreaded the "southern swing"!
